DESCRIPTION

Reporting to Stephanie Laur, the Owner, Creative Director, and Principal Planner of Union Event CO, the Executive Assistant is responsible for providing administrative services and management to Stephanie and the Union Event Co team. The position serves as a first point of contact for Union Event Co's customers and clients including incoming inquiries, day to day correspondence amongst the team and other various organizations. This role requires exceptional communication, strong organizational skills, leadership, and top notch customer service skills in a small but fast paced environment.

LOCATION

Hood River, Oregon

HOURS

5-10 hours per week
 

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Schedules & conducts calls and emails with potential clients & customers and follows up
  • Responds to customer support emails
  • Schedules meetings, appointments and books travel 
  • Maintains and organizes files, data, notes and finished projects
  • Manages the project calendar 
  • Schedules our clients with appropriate planner
  • Manages each project aiding in communication with the client and the planner
  • Writes, preps, & publishes blog posts, email campaigns & social media posts
  • Preps/edits graphics and documents
  • Edits & maintains Union Event Co's website (no coding knowledge needed)
  • Attends conferences, meetings and industry events
  • Plans & coordinates both in-person and online events
  • Assists Stephanie and the Union Event Co team with all other various tasks, functions and duties that may be assigned

Writing, scheduling, organizing, time management, client relations, customer service, sales, deal closing, travel logistics, verbal communication, email communication, presentations, SEO (preferred) and brand strategy (preferred).
