Whenever we have a wedding at Tin Roof Barn we know it’s going to be a good time. Britney and Brian are two true lovebirds who selected one of our favorite venues in Hood River for their love-filled wedding day. With a perfect vision and a mission to have the most fun wedding day ever, it was time for us to get planning with Britney and Brian!

Britney came to us with a PowerPoint of her vision. She didn’t miss a single detail, and we loved it! She was so excited about her wedding day and watching her eyes light up as she explained every detail made us want to get our hands on the design already! Everyone was beyond ready for their wedding day to arrive, but we couldn’t have ever prepared ourselves for how much fun it was.

Britney and Brian’s effortlessly cool wedding day was a party, from the moment the girls popped their getting-ready champagne to when Britney and Brian cuddled up in the photo booth for some fun photos. Their wedding at Tin Roof Barn was absolutely perfect in every way and we cannot wait to show you.

Britney Had a Vision

One of the coolest parts of working as a wedding planner is seeing our couple’s unique visions. Some of our clients come to us with no idea what they want, while others like Britney have had every single detail planned out for months. Regardless of where you are in your wedding planning process, we are happy to jump in and help you bring it to life!

Britney was confident in her design choices, and rightfully so. Everything was gorgeous! Because she had planned out the details ahead of time, we were able to spend their planning meeting getting really specific about the details like napkin folds, place settings, and more. We were thrilled to bring her vision to life and even were able to utilize our rental collections from our sister company, Details Department.

We loved scrolling through Britney’s mood board, but that doesn’t mean you need to come to your planning meeting without questions. We are on your side and want to help you craft your wedding day – not everyone has the creative ideas or time needed to craft up an entire wedding day design! And that is okay. Britney and Brian’s Sweet Moments

When planning your wedding day timeline, it is so important to carve in time for private moments just between you and your partner. These stolen minutes may be few and far between on your wedding day but they are the moments you’ll remember the most. For Britney and Brian, they wanted to spend a little time together before and after they said “I do,” so we planned the perfect little moments for them.

First, they shared the sweetest first look that had everyone in tears. Our bride shared a first look with her dad and that’s when the waterworks started! Following this special father-daughter moment, she headed over to tap her groom on the shoulder as her parents watched fondly. Brian turned around, tears already in his eyes, and they embraced in the sweetest hug! The true bliss on their faces was infectious and everyone was a happy teary-eyed mess, it was so beautiful. 

We also made sure they had some private time to themselves at the place they said “I do” before entering their reception. As the sun set and guests found their seats in the reception barn, we brought Britney and Brian back to their ceremony site. They took a moment to breathe in all the love and soak in their surroundings. It was a special time for them to share with one another before entering the party that awaited.

An Iconic Celebration at Tin Roof Barn

When you mix a beautiful day with a spectacular venue (and an adorable couple), you get a wedding day for the books. Britney and Brian’s celebration was perfect from start to finish and we were so thankful to have played a part in their big day! Tin Roof Barn is one of our favorite venues in Hood River and was perfect for our couple who desired a casual, rustic-chic-meets-bohemian venue. We’ve celebrated with many couples here at Tin Roof Barn and always appreciate how different each event is. Although we are in the same space, each one of our couples finds a way to make the venue feel like theirs.

For Britney and Brian, the fun started early on the morning of the wedding. They were popping bottles of champagne, sharing laughs, and starting the day off on the right foot. Tin Roof Barn was transformed into an effortlessly beautiful reception space with delicately lined tables and a simple floral design. Candles lit up the room as the newlyweds made their grand entrance — which, we were obsessed with. Guests waved their napkins around in the air as the couple made their debut as Mr. and Mrs. and the entire room erupted with cheers. It was so fun! After a delicious dinner and some sweet desserts, it was time to get the party started. With a photo booth and amazing music, guests enjoyed celebrating Britney and Brian the entire night.
