DO YOU ASK GUESTS ABOUT SYMPTOMS OR MANAGE GUEST COUNT?

We do not take guest temperatures or manage temperature taking stations. We do not ask guests about symptoms, exposure, testing, or vaccination status before, during, or after the event.

We do not manage the guest count or rotation of guests in and out of the event. We may ask guests to complete a contract tracing form as they arrive at the wedding.

We abide by all current local laws and mandates and will not break any laws regarding COVID or other restrictions in place on the day of the event.

Our staff will wear masks for the duration of the event and may wear other personal protective gear as deemed necessary by Union Event Co on the day of the event.

We do not enforce social distancing between guests and strongly suggest hiring a service to assist with this at the event.

We do not clean or sanitize any part of the event space before, during, or after the event. We are happy to provide recommendations for on-site cleaning services to provide this. 

DO YOU ENFORCE SOCIAL DISTANCING OR PROVIDE CLEANING services?

To mitigate COVID exposure to our staff, we are not currently storing or transporting personal property to or from the event. This includes, but is not limited to: decorations, gifts, favors, and food. We will continue to setup small decor items including wedding favors, wedding programs, guest book, toasting flutes, cake serving set, card box, table numbers, menu cards, and seating charts.

If the safety of Union Event Co staff could be compromised before or during your event, Union Event Co can terminate our contract and immediately discontinue planning and/or event management services.

While this is unlikely to occur, details regarding the discontinuation of services and payments are outlined in our contract.

ANY REASON WHY YOU WOULD BE UNABLE TO PERFORM SERVICES?

If the event is rescheduled, postponed, or canceled, Union Event Co will charge for additional time to perform services necessary to reschedule, adjust, postpone, or cancel an event. Details regarding the additional fees are outlined in our contract.

entertainment is permitted during wedding services and/or events (public or private), and must follow the Live Entertainment Guidance.

The following requirements apply to all travel, including weddings and
events (public or private), whenever taking place in Oregon.

Oregon has a framework to reduce transmission and protect Oregonians from COVID-19 until vaccines can be widely distributed. All activities assume mask usage, at least 6 feet of physical distancing, provision for hand hygiene, and enhanced cleaning protocols.


COVID-19 Reopening Guidance

for businesses and workers

Dancing is strictly limited at all events to no more than 10 persons from the same group on the dance floor at the same time and all must wear masks and remain at least six feet away from any other person.

The following dances are expressly allowed: the couple’s first dance and the parent dances. For these specifically allowed dances, only one pair may dance at a time, both must be wearing masks (unless they are part of the same household) and must remain six feet away from other persons.

ARE WE ALLOWED TO HAVE DANCING?

Music and live entertainment is permitted, and must follow the Live Entertainment Guidance, Emcee of Events, DJs and AV equipment are allowed so long as they comply with the Live Entertainment Guidance.

Moderate Risk: A minimum of 6 feet of physical distancing is required between artists/performers and the audience.

CAN WE HAVE music or live entertainment?

Professional photographers must adopt the Professional Photography Guidelines. Photographers should maintain social distancing, using no-touch posing methods. All guests shall wear face coverings, and maintain six feet of physical distancing between groups, no more than 15 guests and 2 households per group. 

Wedding couples are exempted from the face covering and six feet physical distancing requirement from each other so long as they maintain six feet of physical distance from all other persons.

CAN WE STILL DO WEDDING PARTY & FAMILY PHOTOs?

The couple and wedding guests must adhere to physical distancing requirements and have six feet of space between. 

Moderate Risk: Groups of 10 for outdoor weddings and events; 8 people per table maximum for outdoor seating.

DO OUR GUESTS HAVE TO SOCIAL DISTANCE? 

In general, it is recommended that people wear a mask or face covering, with or
without a face shield, whenever they are within six (6) feet of people who do not live in the same household - as stated in the State Reopening Guidance.

Statewide, masks, face coverings or face shields are required to be worn by all individuals at all times unless the individual is eating or drinking. 

DO OUR GUESTS HAVE TO WEAR MASKS?

Moderate Risk: Outdoor ceremonies and receptions are permitted and must follow the appropriate venue guidelines.

Maximum outdoor capacity of 150 (including vendors - i.e. venue manager, wedding planner, catering staff, photographer, etc.), so long as six feet of physical distancing is maintained. If food or drinks are served, eating and drinking requirements apply.
